      1. What is the use of campus card and student card?

      Campus card and student ID card are important and effective certificates to prove students who are studying. Students need to issue student ID when registering, taking exams or handling relevant affairs. If the campus card is lost, please go to the campus card service center to apply for replacement.

      2. Do international students have to register every semester?

      Yes. Each student should register at the School of International Education at the beginning of autumn and spring semester according to the registration time specified in the school calendar. Those who fail to register as scheduled shall go through the leave procedures in advance. Those who fail to go through the leave procedures or fail to register within 2 weeks will be treated as automatic withdrawal.

      3. How do self-funded students pay tuition every year?

      Self-funded students pay tuition fees according to the academic year, and pay tuition fees for the next academic year or semester to the bank account designated by the school before the registration date specified by the school in the autumn semester of each academic year.

      4. Will the school buy insurance for me?

      International students studying in China must buy medical insurance, and self-funded students need to pay their own insurance premium (the standard of insurance premium is set by the insurance company that provides insurance for international students in China).

      5. If I can't attend class, do I need to go through the leave formalities?

      Yes, you need to apply for leave. If international students are unable to participate in the courses and activities specified by the school due to illness or other reasons, they shall go through the written leave procedures in advance. Those who have not been granted leave or have overdue leave will be treated as absenteeism. Students who are absent from class shall be given criticism and disciplinary sanctions according to the seriousness of the circumstances.

      6. Can international students change their majors?

      International students are enrolled according to their major. In principle, they cannot change their major after admission. Students who really need to change their majors for special reasons can be implemented in accordance with the relevant specific provisions of the school.

      7. Apply for suspension or retention of student status?

      International students may apply for suspension or retention of student status due to injury or other special reasons. The application shall be submitted by myself with relevant supporting materials. After being reviewed by the Institute of international education, it shall be submitted to the school for approval.

      8. How to apply for resumption after suspension or retention of student status?

      International students should apply to the school for resumption of study before the beginning of the semester after their suspension or retention of school status expires. The application shall be submitted by myself and attached with relevant supporting materials (hospital certificate shall be provided for suspension due to physical reasons). Students at their own expense can go through the resumption procedures after paying tuition fees. Students who leave school or suspend school without permission or fail to return to school on time after the expiration of the period of suspension or retention of school status will be deemed to withdraw from school automatically.

      9. Do I need to go through any formalities if I don't want to continue studying in our school?

      International students who are unable to continue their study or want to transfer to other schools due to physical, economic, academic and other reasons must go through the procedures for withdrawal and change of residence permit before they can go through the certificate of withdrawal.

      10. What if international students violate the laws and regulations and school discipline?

      International students must abide by Chinese laws, regulations and school rules and regulations, and respect China's social morality and customs. Those who violate Chinese laws and constitute a crime shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the law; In case of violation of school discipline and school regulations, punishment shall be given according to the regulations on disciplinary punishment of students of Jiangsu agriculture and Forestry Vocational and technical college according to the seriousness of the circumstances.

      11. Do I need to inform the relevant teachers after the passport, mobile phone number, accommodation address, email and other information of international students are changed?

      After the passport, mobile phone number, accommodation address, e-mail and other relevant important information of international students are changed, they must register with the counselor at the first time (within 24 hours is recommended).

      12. My residence permit is about to expire. How can I extend it?

      Before the expiration of the residence permit, please bring the temporary accommodation registration form (issued by Huayang police station) and the original passport to the student management section of the SIE to GET the "visa extension / residence permit certificate for foreign students", and then go to the entry-exit management brigade of Jurong public security Bureau to handle the extension of the residence permit.

      13. I want to move to off campus accommodation. How do I apply?

      At present, our college does not allow international students to stay abroad.

      14. Can students' accompanying families stay in the dormitory?

      If students' family members want to accompany them, they must arrange accommodation outside the school by themselves, and handle the temporary residence registration of overseas personnel at the local police station according to the regulations.

      15. How do graduating students go through the formalities for leaving school?

      After graduation, the students receive the departure list from the counselor, and then hand it over to the counselor after getting all stamps neccesary. After informing the student management department of the SIE, they can leave the school and return to their country normally.
