Mr. Yang Guangrong, Dean of School of International Education, first explained that the Mid Autumn Festival is an important traditional festival for all Chinese people, which foreign students should fully understand. The school is the home for foreign students in China. He hoped that foreign students cherish the opportunity to study in China, the company of teachers and classmates, and devote themselves to learning with fuller enthusiasm.
Then, Ms. Zhou Yuanyuan gave on-site teaching to the foreign students and taught the course "Mid Autumn Festival Culture and Customs". Ms. Zhou told the story of Chang'e running to the moon and the food culture of the Mid Autumn Festival. After listening to the story, foreign students said they had benefited a lot.
At the end of the activity,Mr. Yang Guangrong distributed mid autumn moon cakes to all foreign students. The teachers and foreign students talked about their home habits and had a grat time together.
