On September 8, SIE organized 15 international students to gather together. Prof. Yang Guangrong, Dean of SIE, gave all the international students a "First Class".
Prof. Yangfirst introduced the overall situation of foreign students studying in the school, made a detailed description of the test passing rate and in class performance of foreign students in previous years, and guided them to reflect and summarize the unsatisfying test result. Then,Prof. Yangput forward five requirements for the students in the school: first, study hard in the new semester and attend classes according to the rules; Second, strengthen safety awareness and do not relax in the face of the epidemic; Third, stay in contact and pay attention to learning and examination information informed in time; Fourth, maintain a good sanitary environment in the dormitory and develop positive and healthy living habits; Fifth, behave in a civilized manner and establish a good image of international students in public places.
Finally,Prof. Yangsummed up the class with three English words: "happy" - hoping the foreign students can have a wonderful experience during their study in China; "Hardwork" -hopingforeign students will study hard and hand in satisfactory answers for their college life; "Success" -hoping all international students can make due contributions to their own national construction and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries after returning home.
