On the afternoon of June 16, the College held the commencement ceremony for 2018 international students in thelibraryconference room. Jia Jun, vice president of the college, attended the ceremony. Relevant leaders from SIE, Academic Affairs Office, Secondary Schools, some teachers and 26 2021 international students joined the ceremony, which was presided over by Prof. Guo Haihong, Dean of SIE.
Vice President Jia Jun extended warm congratulations to the international students who successfully completed their studies, and heartfelt thanks to all the teachers for their hard work. She encouraged the international students to respond to China's " Belt & Road" initiative and actively act as messengers of cultural exchanges and cooperation. She adviced students to persist in learning, be proactive, work hard, and contribute to the development of their own country. She hoped they would not forget their alma mater and become forever friends of JSAFCers.
Then, vice president Jia Jun issued the graduation certificate to the representative of excellent graduates, and the leaders of the secondary schools issued the letter of appointment to the alumni liaison of 2018 international students. ISLAM SHEIKH THOUHIDUL from Bangladesh, representative of overseas graduates,and MUBIKAYI MUHONG HORLYfrom the Democratic Republic of the Congo, representative of students at school, made speeches respectively.
Finally, the teachers took a photo with all graduates. It is believed that graduates will open a new chapter in their life and have a bright future!
