Founded in 2002, School of Information Engineering now offers six majors, including IOT application technology, computer application technology, cloud computing application technology, digital media technology, electronic information engineering technology and IOT engineering. There are 1570 students, including 230 undergraduates and 30 international students.
School of Information Engineering has 51 faculty members, including 2 professors, 9 associate professors and 4 Ph.Ds. There are 32 on campus training bases and 23 off campus training bases such as modern agriculture and forestry virtual simulation center, IOT foundation, IOT integration, sensor network application, program design and virtual studio.
Over the past three years, School of Information Engineering has presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation, 12 teaching and research projects at the provincial level, 21 invention patents and 75 computer software copyrights.
In recent years, its studenthas won 287 competition awards at the provincial level or above, and the student employment rate has stabilized at more than 98%.
