School of Tea and Food Science and Technology has 47 full-time teachers, including 6 professors, 14 associate professors and 8 Ph.Ds.

It has six majors, including tea art and tea marketing, tea tree cultivation and tea processing, agricultural biotechnology, food nutrition and testing, agricultural product processing and quality testing, and food processing technology, with nearly 1200 students.

Over the past five years,School of Tea and Food Science and Technologyhas undertaken more than 20 provincial and municipal scientific research projects. Teachers have published more than 200 papers in SCI, Chinese core journals and provincial journals, compiled 23 teaching materials and 2 provincial key teaching materials in Jiangsu, won more than 10 provincial and municipal awards for teaching and scientific research achievements, applied for more than 40 patents, authorized 23 invention patents and 8 utility model patents. It won 2 scientific and technological progress awards of Jiangsu Province and 1 first prize of teaching achievement of the national food Teaching Steering Committee.
