School of Agronomy and Horticulture has a history of 90 years. It now offers five majors: Horticulture Technology, modern agricultural technology, leisure agriculture, environmental monitoring and control technology, crop production technology, and crop production technology. Among them, crop production technology, Horticulture Technology and modern agricultural technology are the national key construction majors; Environmental monitoring and control technology is a provincial key construction specialty; At present, there are more than 2300 full-time students.
The School has 77 full-time teachers, including 13 professors, 20 associate professors and 51 Ph.Ds. Among them, there are 2 experts who enjoy special allowance from the State Council, 1 selected as a national model teacher, 3 provincial famous teachers, 1 national vocational education and innovation team and 4 provincial excellent teaching, scientific and technological innovation teams.
Over the past five years, it has presided over more than 60 provincial or above level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and provincial science and technology support project, authorized more than 110 invention patents, and won 16 provincial or above level science and technology awards.
